Vishnu Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research (VIPER) was established by his Excellency DR.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, Former President of India on 16 th August 2007. The college is affiliated to the JNTUH and approved by the AICTEand PCI, New Delhi. Accredited by NBA and NAAC

The College has well equipped laboratories catering to the various disciplines in Pharmacy. VIPER is the only Pharamceutical education institute in Telangana has state-of-the-art “Centre for molecular and cancer research (CMCR)” and“Cognitive Science” Laboratories. Our society has started an NGO “NAVYA” to support the rural people in and aroung Narsapur. To continue the support to rural people VIPER has associated with UBA in 2019. Success story of VIPER has been publised in official website of UBA. VIPER received a perrenial assistance award  and funding for 1 technology development proposal.

Association with UBA: We received Rs 50,000/- from UBA in the year 2019 completed the house hold survey as per the UBA norms and invested in building relationship with five villages. The faculty and students have made regular visits to the five villages.

We have received Rs. 1,000,00 under Technical project,design of Hypochlorous acid (HOCL) generator by using Electro-Chemical Activation method for disinfection in COVID 19

Regional coordinating Institute (NIRD&PR) is supporting in every activity and mointoring. We do connect via whatsapp and they provide useful direction for us to plan of activities. They know how to handle the human element of the projects and also connecting with villagers and we could use those techniques to establish contact with our adopted villages.
