About Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Analysis department

  The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis focused research in the areas of new chemical entities for the treatment of cancer, diabetes and hypertension. The department is successful in getting financial support from various funding agencies like DBT, DST, AICTE and ICMR. The Department has about 41 national and international publications in various reputed journals with an average impact factor of 3.0 during last five years. Faculty members have collaboration with reputed national and international institutes. Our department is having MoU with Incozen Pharma Hyderabad.

 Facilities in our department

 The Department also maintains state-of-the-art, self-contained CENTER FOR MOLECULAR AND CANCER RESEARCH (CMCR) lab that house all equipment needed for the growth, maintenance, and analysis of cells. Cell culture hood, Incubator, Refrigerator and Deep freezer (–80°C), Cell counter, Inverted microscope, Liquid nitrogen (N2) freezer or Cryostorage container Western blot, Agarose Electrophoresis, Gel Electrophoresis, Vacuum Filtration and Vortexer. The CMCR lab is maintained by a permanent, trained staff.
